Retired from drag racing, I've been building street rods and restoring antiques for the last couple of years. I want my next project to be a sort of combination of the two, a big roadster reminiscent of the '30's with a giant V12 engine. I'm looking for a Seagrave, LaFrance or Packard V12 in at least repairable condition for an affordable price and somewhere within a reasonable distance of Pittsburgh so I can pick it up. Just my luck, I missed a running one this morning on Ebay that went for $1300. Anbody got one??
The one on Ebay that I was watching this morning actually went for $2930. I was thinking of bidding on it myself but got scared at $1800.
