I know some people are scared of tin-sided v8-60s. is there more reasons besides being hard to repair leaks. I understand if you find a bare block or a stuck one they might not be worth putting money into. I guess some may say that's true of all v8-60s. I just picked up a complete tin-sider that turns free. it came from a big industrial welder and is still set up to run on the welder frame. haven't had much time to work on it but did take one head off and was very suprised at the condition of the cylinders. everything looks really good. never owned one before but I'm not scared of the tin-sides. just wondering what I'm getting into.
