    Hi,
I am building a Crosley Sedan which will be powered by a 1937 Ford Flathead V8-60 HP Engine. The front track is only 40 inches and I want to keep that dimension while providing a front suspension that will provide better handling, ride, and steering than the original Crosley. Any suggestions on the best way to go? Solid front axle from another car cut down to fit? Are there any IFS systems that could be made to fit in the available space? Please advise. Thank you.

Those crosleys are narrow critters. My pal Dwight is using a narrowed aftermarket Ford style tube axle in his but things are really tight with a small block chebbie..
