Heres a kiwi tractor from our earthquake capital. Can anyone id the engines?

 

Here's one with two Flatheads we saw at Goodwood. It articulates in the middle and was about the neatest thing I've ever seen.

The front looks like a SBF and the rear looks like a SBC to me.

 

We have a winner.

 

Here is a 289 in Ford. Looks like engine swaps in Ford N series tractors are popular!

Those were in the "1468" series. Had a V-8 that ran on on bank of four cylinders until full power was needed, then kicked in the other bank of four cylinders....
Great idea on paper, but not in reality....When I was farming in the 80's-90's the neighbor had a few of them...a real noisy ****** when started on a colder day....when popping off on just four
Most all of them were rigged to run on all eight cylinders all the time...they were a powerful engine too !!
