It is January and I am trying to schedule my 4wks of Vacation for 2004. These are the long distance shows where I will need to travel for a day or two. I live in Dallas TX, anything within a 8hr drive does not count for vacation. Do I have these dates correct? Paso May 28-30 . Vacation Days May 26-June2 BTT50s June 18-20 . Vacation days June 16-22 Hunnert CarPileup Oct 9???? . Vacation days Oct 7-11 Turkey Run Nov 25-28 . Vacation days Nov 23-Dec 1 TZ
The Turkey Run is right........ I do not know about the rest..........Paso is a little ways from South Carolina......
Paso is correct...it's on Memorial Day weekend. I think I'm going to try to make that one again this year too. I don't know...I only get one week of vacation this year, so it's going to be hard for me to decide between Paso and Bonneville. I'd also like to do the CHRR (Cal. Hot Rod Reunion) or it's Kentucky counterpart...we'll see.
flt-blk Don't forget the "Lonestar Round Up" end of March and the Day of the Drags in Nov. ...! They're local runs for you..., but it would be worth taking a day or two so you can enjoy the drive and take in the sites along the way...! Mark
I'm glad you're considering the Pileup again! We haven't set a date yet, but we usually try to shoot fo around the 11th to avoid competition with the other big local shows
Damn right I'm coming back to the Pileup. The last trip ranks in my top 5 ever. The local stuff is a given, besides I run with Bass and Outlaw, at 85-90mph there's not much scenery to see. Local Attractions Roundup Lizard Roast The day of the drags Stray Cat 500 Sherman/Dennison Hamb Drags Etc. TZ
