I was wondering, Is it best to get the vacuum for your automatic trans(turbo 350) from the intake manifold or the back of the carb? Is there a difference? Does the carb do something for the performance of the trans as get goes though it's paces?
Normaly there is a port behind the carb on the intake. you can use any constant vacuum port, that is a good strong source for vacuum.
GM used direct manifold vacuum right from the back of the manifold. Same place the booster eas connected. You do not want ported vacuum from above the throttle blades of the carb.
