Technical Vacuum regulator??

Pls see pictures-can anyone identify? It appears to be an adjustable vacuum regualtor-came in a box of things with McCulloch supecharger and other unidentifiable items--thank you!!

Does it only have one port on it? Maybe a vacuum operated fast idle solenoid. Looks like the rod on the end goes in and out.

 

Thanks all-it just has two vacuum ports and an adjustment screw-no writing on it or numbers. The old vacuum gauge was in there too--works too

 

For some reason I think that had something to do with a water-injection system...
