This is one of those 1970 racing factory setups with aluminum intake and 3 Holley 2300's with no chokes and no vacuum activation as was on the cast iron street versions. Comes complete with factory linkage.

No air cleaner, that went on the cast iron setup to create a correct setup for the Daytona under restoration.

Gotta dump this in EPay so need some idea of value.

The street set-ups are pretty expensive - I think I've seen them $800 plus. If that is a legit Nascar piece (I thought they used 4bbls?) I would think pretty damn valuable.

NASCAR did only use 4 bbl setups to the best of my knowledge.

Very late 69 and very early 70 production dates used the aluminum 6 pack to qualify the 440 Superbird and Daytona from what Ive read.
Very limited production and quite rare. Superceded by the 4bbl and later banned cuz of the wing.

Ive got the manifold and carb #'s if anyone has the books. These are factory, not aftermarket.

I'd poke the reserve way up there, Carl, just to keep it safe... maybe 12-1500? BTW did you get those thrifty nickles? best. himmelberg

I'm thinking the same Peter. I saw a set in Hemmings with a $2K asking price and they needed full restoration.
These came off a running car 2 years ago.

Yes and thanx for the mail, Ive been looking for you to say that. I even put your adr label aside so I could send postage but that blew off somewhere! EMail me your addy.

286 sorry to pop yer bubble BUT NO nascar didnt let the six pack run and all the daytona and superbirds that ran were hemis.Aluminum intakes WERE on street cars (they were made for chrysler by Edelbrock) and later years were cast iron. ALL sixpacks were vacum actuated front and rear carbs. Some dragracers and streeters tried using mech linkage with no success because the end carbs have no accelerator pumps.Dont feel bad the vette guys did it too.Parts for these are very hard to find by themselves.Looks like what you have is a sixpack unit that stumbles like***** when the end carbs are utilized. You can buy them new with air cleaner and all necc linkage for $1500.00 new.If a guy bought that one for $750. Then bought the right linkage -vac cannisters- air cleaner-rebuild kits then restored to a new looking condition Hed be at the price of new.JMO---FEDER

... and I just picked up a complete 440 motor. I'd love that beast of a setup.
