The other day I stopped in at an old farm implement grave yard because I saw a couple of old pick up cabs. They were a couple of mid 40's Dodges that were way gone and almost completely robbed of parts. So the old guy says, "I have an old speedster in the shed, if you know anybody who wants it ." I looked at it and on a scale of 1-10 I would say it's a 8. He said it turns over but he couldn't figure out the old wooden style battery. I have seen them before but have no idea what it's worth or how rare it is. Any clues??

Tell us a little more about it and maybe we could help. A 'speedster' can mean a lot of things from a model T with the roof hacked off to an old racer with a hopped up motor and rare intake and quick change, etc.

It is an all stock version of the model T with no doors and wooden wheels.
similar to this picture I found here on the HAMB.

As far as being is the wrong forum, I think this is a stepping stone to the begining of racing and what we now call hot rodding!!
