   I got some valve cover spreader bars when I changed by gaskets on my sbc to make sure things didn't leak but I don't know which way up they go. Here's a pic of one:
   
   
   
   Are the bends at the end supposed to point upwards or downwards? IN other words away from the valve cover or towards the valve cover?
