That would make a great Christmas card, or that's what Photobucket tried to sell me.

Thank You Jim..sorry I'm a bit behind the power curve with "putters".. still can't figure out in what application Ford would have used these valve guides?

The oil hole is up there in the middle near the arrow? That's right in the middle of the block, and V8 flatheads don't have any oiling in that area. Sure looks Fordish, so maybe it's tractor, or maybe those 1940 truck 4 cylinders?

This one has me stumped ..I have looked at all possible Fords that used early split guides and nothing had
an oil passage..I wonder if these were experimental? they were in a box with tons of dried factory cosmoline
and in the original tubes with no markings?

Note the difference at tops...mystery piece has a sort of ring around top, known Ford piece has continuous dome.
Lincoln overhaul book seems to show that top ring...I haven't had time to thoroughly read the text, and I have no real experience with the V-12's. Also, Lincoln had two variant oiling systems as some years had hydraulic lifters, other years normal Ford type. Beyond that I know about nothing, but a V12 person on here (Frenchy?) could probably set this all out quickly.

Also...if it is an oil hole, it may well be a trap/drain arrangement to stop oil from going up and being burned. I don't believe it could be an oil feed of any sort as this is an un-sealed unit and would immediately go full boogie blue smoke special if oil were actively pumped in. Fords work fine with the unsealed system stock, will burn oil if anything is done allowing more oil mist in valley. Lincolns had a reputation as smokers.

Found pics in the Lincoln Bulletins showing the internal groove like that...there should also be a downward groove across the outer ring below that. Pretty definitely from Lincoln V-12 with hydraulic lifters.
