The big storms that blew through our area Friday took out the electricity, the phones, and the internet here. Our power is back up after 24 hours but still no phone service or internet. The word from Alta-Fiber is maybe Monday evening. We are able to access the internet through our cell phone as a hotspot but that is somewhat limited. You’ll get our voice mail if you call. I will make an effort to get the messages but things will be difficult under the circumstances. Hopefully, all will be back to normal by Tuesday. We are receiving the orders placed through the online store but without the internet we cannot process any shipments or credit card charges. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please be patient….we’ll be back!
I understand. This has been frustrating since Friday. No basketball on TV. I’m able to access the internet through my iPad…by way of my cell phone. Very clunky and I have to make sure I keep both well charged. Tomorrow is the real problem when we get to the office. The Spectrum truck has been down the road several times this weekend (hopefully getting their customers reconnected). No sign of AltaFiber trucks….
Hey, my flathead engine project started 35 years ago so a few more days is not a biggie! Best of luck for you. Dave
Excellent of you to take the time to keep your customers, and the rest of us, informed. Best of luck for a rapid restoration of your services. Stay warm.
Meaning that although the site works because it is on a remote server folks can't reach you directly thorough the net or the phone until your local connection is fixed.
AltaFiber came through late last night. Everything is back in order. Keeping our fingers crossed but all should be fine. Sorry for the alarm but they had casually suggested that it would be tonight or tomorrow before they could get here. So…..we’re good to go.
Glad you are back up and running! I figured out my problem so won't need to call but thanks for what you do and for being there for us Ford nuts. Dave
Good marketing on their part. Tell you the long end of the spectrum and deliver early, you're happy. Tell you the short end of the spectrum and deliver late, you're aggravated.
