I can really appreciate a Duvall. I don't like the bent one-piece gl*** in a '40 Ford though. Which did you mean?
Don't like V windshields, or windshield gl*** designed to eliminate center bar either. I prefer the original look of all the older cars.
To each their own. I don’t like flat windshields, or neat hair, or driving without bugs hitting my face, but, that’s just me, [emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
V **** looks like *** (see what I did there?). Too street roddy. And a one piece bent in the middle has a horrible distortion in the center. Love the Duvall style! For my 41 truck I am building it gets 2 flat pieces and a SS divider, I just wish they made a SS surround for the whole windscreen or a rubber with a SS bead in it. You remember on star trek when they made clear aluminum? Well I need someone from the future to come back and make me some chrome rubber seals.
I like the Hallock Style windshields , but hard to get a top that looks good. For that reason I didn't go that route. Bill
Style "V" thing ,not one I care for. I have seen it done well on cars that didn't ever had"V"and looked more sporty on few ,also not so well=poor fit to cowl, or too far forward on cowl, too high or too much drop from center to outter post. One of many things can be loved or hated. If ya own it do what you like.
Well, gee..... Both my 48 Plymouth coupe and my 49 Dodge truck have dual gl*** Veed windshields. Gene
