Sent this Borgenson Vega box to them for rebuilding and adjusting. Put it in the roadster chassis yesterday and it takes 2 men and a boy to turn the front wheels. Wonder if they got it to tight when they rebuilt it. Never had one act like this? Steering box experts????
How much of the adjuster bolt is showing above the lock nut. Have a 30 year old 525 that the bolt only a couple threads show
Gary, I'm sure the folks at Borgenson never intended to return the steering box back to you in bad shape, I have never had a box rebuilt and I'm certainly no expert but as much business you have done with them I believe they will correct the problem with a phone call, they have a good reputation and they need to correct the problem. Did you talk to Borgenson before you posted on the HAMB? They have a very solid reputation and a negative post could definitely effect them.
If I was to buy a new Vega box I would only buy a Borgeson. Even after this thread. No damage done to their rep for me.
