venice high adult school has a metal shop cl*** in the evening for adults opening soon if they can get enough students, this is open cl*** where you can build whatever you want , a great resource for anyone building a car. The instuctor is very cool and the shop itself is cl***ic.
btt for the morning crowd they also have welding equipment Gas, mig, tig, ark and a small forge to melt metal
Man, you are fortunate. Many, many of the traditional high school "shop cl***es" are closing down throughout the USA. Wish, I could move to Venice.
How much is it and what days (nights) does it meet? I might be up for it. Ill see if I can talk some friends into it too. One of my friends took the woodshop cl*** there...it looked like fun.
Hey I looked on line and found the phone number 310 577 4230, you need to give them your name and number. When they get enough poeple they will open the cl*** I think it will be 6:30 to 9:30 monday nights. They currently have a clss 9:30 to 4:00 saturdays through the R.O.P. office for students and adults.
****! I went to Venice High! Maybe the cl*** can build a new cage for the statue of Myrna Loy out front. The one around it now looks like it was built by a blind Chinaman. Sounds like a fun cl***, though....
they used to do funny things to that statue.. didnt someone even try to blow it up with dynamite or something? haha I remember my best friends older brother telling us about that when I was a kid.
