Hot Rods Vern Lacey Salinas Hi-timers

I am trying to find more information about Vern Lacey. Andy Southard’s book says he was part of the Salinas “Hi timers” car club.
Does anyone have any more information about the club? Thanks.

Does anyone know the Reynal family from Salinas. Nick Reynal is credited with some pictures in Andy’s book. He was also in the Hi-Timers.
