I immediately felt like Vern was kin when i met him years ago, bein' a former Okie like myself- Vern's good people, and the time i've spent milling around at his ranch...watching, listening, and learning was some time well spent. I look forward to my next trip out
I had the pleasure of watching Vern and crew prep their Bonneville roadster for tech at B'ville a couple of years back. I wanted to talk with them but didn't want to impose on the important work at hand. A visit to Vern's shop is on my "bucket list".
Ran into him at Bonneville this past year....and what a nice guy talked to the guys he was there with not knowing he was with them. he came back in his 32 and his buddies joked and said you have some fans here and I quote he said " oh shut up I'm not that big of deal" and laughed. everyone sat around and bs'ed for a good hour. Great guy and highlight of the trip
Dose any body have some information on the 31 coupe in the video. That's the way I would like to build mine, I need to know what went into the drive line and suspension. Looks clean and simple its what I'm looking for.
