  11. These next 5 pics have a bit of a story behind them:
They were sent to me by a very good friend of mine name of Charlie. He was going thru his picture collection and came across the negatives and had them developed for me.
I didn't even remember him taking them, but anyway the story is:
He wanted to get his 27 T flamed. He was putting it together in his LIVING ROOM as there was no heat in his garage. He had built several motorcycles in there and a T isn't much bigger so.....
I layed out the flames and masked them off.We were going to use the standard(dare I say traditional?)yellow-orange-red with white outlining and we were using ENAMEL!
I don't remember how much we covered up in the house but I guarantee there is still overspray in there and this was done in 1974!
I used to tell people about this little caper and they'd all say,"Yeah right!" so here's the pix to prove it.Bear in mind that was when I weighed about 130 lbs. and lived on Dunkin Donuts coffee, unfiltered Pall Malls, and Jack Black!
so without further ado, here they are:

  12. The masking continues!Sorry for the lousy picture quality;I didn't have them developed.

  15. Almost done!Notice background.

  16. After dis***embling it to get it outside(in the summer)it was re-***embled and the white striping put on.Not a bad looking car.I think the hood sides were made from old lockers(instant louvers).
