Vette hubcap question

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Fat ASS Whitewalls, Mar 9, 2008.

  1. What are some early Vette parts sites? I want to see what is available in early Vette hubcaps. I'm not sure what year I'm looking for, but I guess it would be pre 66. I'm thinking about putting them on my wagon. Thanks, Dean

I have this set of '63s I was just about to put up for sale for $150. They are driver quality, but who wants to spend $600- to $1,200- on something that's so easy to steal? Let me know, Thanks Jim

I did a quick search and these are two i came up with that list hubcap's for Vette's..I thought Mid America did as well, but found nothing in thier parts list.
If you do a search via google, you should come up with a lot of different places that list caps.....some new (pricey) some used.
    Good luck.

OR, just buy Jim's.....that's a great deal and a cool cap!

  4. Just curious, what size wheel do yours fit 14" or 15". Damn repops are expensive, I should have known. I found a Vette site that has them, I can buy wheels for less. Thanks, Dean

Jim A, that's a killer price. The painted or frosted one is EARLY '63.

This is a handy website for identifying old hubcaps: http://www.hubcaps.org/ They have pictures of all the old Corvette hubcaps, as well as many other makes.

  8. All of the early Corvette full caps are 15". After that the aluminum wheels came to p***.

    Corvettes NEVER had 14's.

  11. I had a set of driver quality '64's, only got $100 on ebay, Corvette guys don't want driver quality, you may find some cheap.
