Awesome build as usual. The car flows really well and the devil is in the details! Can't wait to see this one in color! I'm a sucker for green....

Man that looks great Skip! This car is really one of my favorite customs and it's not even painted!!!!!

Would be cool to get that trim to butt up under that quarter window gutter but that's just being picky.:D

A small update...I am in the trunk area doing metalwork and I fitting the fender openings to the skirt because it was off a bit. I will then start the patching.

Absolutely amazing car Skip. Every time I see more progress I'm blow away.... Truly an ugly duckling story for the books. Throw it on the trailer and drag it to Eagle Field!!

Jeeze Skip, this thing is incredible. I really love the vibe of this car. One of my favorites, for sure.

  22. this picture solidified what i couldn't put my finger on.....

not sure if this makes sense...

but with the rain gutters, the chunkiness of the A pillar, the profile of the vent window and the proportions of the roof, i get the feeling of a carson top, but its not... if you catch my drift.

    freaking superb mister skipper.

I've been admiring your build from afar..

And I just have to admit that I envy your metal working skills! They're top notch! This is one of my top 10 favorite customs already among the likes of Rudy Rodriguez's Merc and Justin Hill's Art Deco Buick.. Simple, not overdone, beautiful in each and every little way. I have a hard time pointing out the little things that bother me as I usually can in other builds which says a lot when you realize I'm a perfectionist.:D

This is beautiful. Thank you for all the updates. I'm looking toward seeing this finished!
