I found an ancient thread about mustang gas tanks in shoeboxes and there was a mention about those comet tanks. If i remember right it was you,who gave me this idea of using the comet tank. So,thanks for sharing the information! That victoria looks really amazing, keep it up!
Looks *****en Skip!!! PS, what's going on with that flathead intake in the lower right corner?? (I could really use a fuel pump stand if ya got an extra laying around)
"Royalshifter", it just keeps getting better and better. Outstanding style and workmanship.............Mike
Hey Skip--looking GREAT !!---**** Baskin is a great guy and ,as you say, knows about period correct upholstery for sure-his seal of approval means a great deal as you know. Tim
Hey Tim, I'm still looking for the fuel injection air duct if you run across one. I have everything, including nameplates and flags but still need an plenum air duct. I'm using a piece that looks pretty good but not original........Thanks,Mike
One look and you can feel it - what can't even be named; this thing has it. You have the look down to the atom. Amazing proportions. I'll be watching this build like a hawk. Hats off to you buddy. I can't believe I've missed this one until now..
Very sweet car and build thread. It's a shame I won't be on the Left Coast anytime soon, I'd like to see it on the street!
Really great work Skipper looks like a million bucks. Now need to get er finished for Eagle in Oct................... Hell for a young guy you have a great eye...............
Thanks a bunch Chris, I really appreciate it. I'll shoot you a pm. Skip, the car is amazing. Easily my favorite custom, and I'm not much for full bodied cars. I'm glad I got to see the transition from when you first got it until now. It's been a long road, but buddy you nailed it.
KBS Coatings their ch***is paint kit. Amazing how far a quart will go. Also this is with a brush......low tech here guys.
I like what you've done. I looks really good. Best thing of all is that this car means something to you since it belonged to someone you really cared about. I've got something like that. My grandpa gave me his truck six months before he died. Its an old C10, but it was really all he had. Keep up the good work man. Looks awesome.
This build makes me happy..... Weird! I just love it and get excited when i see it on page 1 !!!!!!! Keep going Skip!!!!
He Skip, I just can't get enough of that car, I was showing it to my wife last night and she loved it, I've been looking for something else to build for her and now I think I know what it might be. Thanks for sharing this awesome build with us.
