C'mon guys, Skip's probably working on a nice Friday or weekend photo presentation to feed our addictions. Whenever it comes, it'll be worth the wait. It always is...
LOL... Skip is definitely the HAMB drug dealer right now.. Has all us scratching waiting for the next hit.
Sorry guys...Marty has been getting his open house ready for Sun. so no update til maybe the weekend? Car is masked and wet sanded ready for its coat. Stay tuned. I do have an engine compartment shot if interested?
I had a nice treat today but I can't spoil the suprise so I will just post some "Skipper approved" pix and leave it at that. Went by "Marty's Hot Rods and Rust" today for a sneek peek at the Victoria and I must say I was impressed with what I saw, not just the car but the quality work that is done there, bunch of good guys. But the main thing was to lay hands on this fine piece of machinery, man what a joy! You all should take a look, this car looks finer in primer than most look finished. I must add that the real reason for my visit was to check out an engine that Skip is selling to another HAMBer for his car. It's a very fine 390 Caddy that was pulled from a one owner car and in very nice shape. Marcus will dig this in his '34 when I get through with it.
She's gettin' juicy! (Rocking back and forth in my chair)... I can't wait to see it painted! How do you sleep at night Skip?!?
That is cool trim . I had some rat holed for a long time but got talked out of it Nice to see it goin green
I'm at the same point with my '40... Just trying not to rush it- I want to be DONE with it! What a beautiful car... ***embly will be like a whole bunch of Christmases...
Right on! I'm very excited about this.I think I need my head examined for doing an engine swap in a car that was just finished only a few months ago..but I know it will be WELL worth it..Thank you guys both, Skip for selling me the Caddy and Tim for qoing down there and checking it out for me.Much appreciated. Now the fun begins!
