I believe so, but then also have to take into account that when this film was made, your still probably early/mid year in 1965, so there were still options like the L78 (375hp) motor that were being discussed along with other smaller details.
I always got a kick out of this knock off James Bond movie commercial Chevy did for the Chevelle in 1966.
I’m sure at some point I knew how different the windshield (on a hardtop) was from ‘65 to ‘66, but it wasn’t until I was sourcing replacement pieces for my ‘64 that I found out they’re totally different animals. While sedans, wagons, and el Caminos (and maybe the 4-door hardtops?) stayed the same. I know someone in the last few years built a ‘65 with a ‘66/7 roof and even then I didn’t pick up on the difference.
