My 56 mainline has a vin tag on the doorjamb ( front drivers side ) but Its missing on the 56 parklane so Where else is there a vin ( I know 48 and earlier location was drivers side frame rail but didn't see it on either 56... thanks
The only VIN # location which can be seen with the body on the frame is on the p***enger side upper frame rail to the rear of the crossmember where the radiato mounts. Good luck, Alan S. Freeman
Well I found the vin it is a " m " code which makes a 292 according to the y-block book. I was hoping it was a 312 but oh well, at least it's not locked up1
