VIN location on 1931 Ford

Did Ford stamp the VIN in the frame on a 1931 Ford Sedan (Fordor)? If so, where did they stamp it? I took the body off and would like to see if I can find it.

 

Left side on top of rail behind front body mount holes.

 

Underneath where the body sits. Hopefully it's still legible and not rusted away.
