Got lots of Whizzer stuff. All original & a bunch or weird springer bikes, most all skip tooth. PM me if interested and understand that it won't be free. ( BUT NOT STUPID MONEY EITHER )

Enjoying the really cool bikes here! Lot's of fun building, and enjoying them. They're a perfect complement to our hobby, and reliving childhood isn't bad either ; )

Just last night the West Palm Beach Freak Bike Militia had a Halloween themed "chopper night" bicycle ride. Over 250 people showed up for a beautiful ride along the Intercoastal Waterway to downtown WPB. It was a great family friendly event with most dressed in costume. Good time!

More crazy bicycle action can be seen at this link, http://freakbikenation.homestead.com/. I highly recommend checking out the FreakBike Foto Gallery. Be advised, block some time! By the way, Kenny P here on the HAMB founded all things that is the Freak Bike Militia universe. Hey Kenny P, chime in here!!!

    Here's a '70 Schwing Sting-Rat I had fun building.

Well, this one will get shut down pretty quickly, but I'll add my '35 mens Silver King, '48 Schwinn Phantom, and the girlfriends '37 ladies Silver King, '73 Schwinn Colligiate (bought new in the original box 4 years ago!), and '78 Sting Ray to the count. Sorry, no pictures to share right now. It's only been the last week or so that we have been able to take them out at night 'cause it's finally less than a half a million degrees here! My office looks like a cl***ic bicycle parking lot all summer long. We ride with a vintage bike group here in Phoenix called The Flyers... Mostly bicycle bar hopping on weekend evenings!

    Funny CL add.Read carefully:

Ok, I know this category is bicycles, but they don't have a tricycle category so I thought I'd give it a shot and post the tricycle here. Looks like a Radio Flyer Tricycle. A little bit of rust, but very sturdy and solid. Awesome tricycle. Don't want to sell it my my teenager is too embarr***ed to ride it to school so I've got to get him a real bicycle.

Love old bikes as well, have a few Schwinns, Elgins, orphans and Tricycles.

    Elgin, Men's Tank Bicycle

For the last few years I've been really down on yard sales. You know, 99% of them are baby cloths and pure junk. Well Friday (a month or so ago) we had the morning to run, stopped by a local yard sale in the old part of town and the ol'boy (in his 80's) had a Schwinn I bought. After talking with him further he said he still had the bike his dad rode back and fourth to work back in the day. He took me back to a small garage and this is what was buried under a bunch of stuff. Tires up, still ridable 38-40 Elgin. Someone painted it to they're liking years back, but who cares. I feel very lucky to have found the bike.

I like vintage lightweights - I have a 1946 Baines "Flying Gate" - but these ten ton Schwinns do nothing for me. They look like they´re heavier than my car.

A Flying Gate, similar to mine...

I traded my Quad for an original 1949 Schwinn Black Phantom. I posted a pic,but it got closed, hahaha!
Guy had it restored 16 years ago and hung it on his wall. I had to take it apart and grease the bearings, cause it had none.

oh this is a nice bike, i have been looking for just the right frame to build my own, i'd like to run a 4-stroke with an aluminum/lye hydrogen generator just for fun, as for the weight of bikes, i really pissed this guy off at a bike shop, just a stranger i started talking to when looking at new bikes, i was looking at $200 bikes and he was looking at $2000 bikes, his point was how light the bikes were he was looking at and that cost money to make them that way, i said to him well if you lost 20lbs you could buy the cheap bike and still have the same weight rolling down the road, he just turned and walked away..
