Vintage Cal custom valve cover baffles screw hold baffles what size when got valve cover 9 finned baffles cover missing made copy baffles but screw thread very shallow any one idea what size it is

I think the screws are 8-32, 1/4 inch long. It is probably a good idea to run a tap into threads to clean them up.
