Here is a complete propane conversion system recently removed from an early 50s Dodge flathead six, may work well on other machines such as a banger, flathead V8 or similar small throat one or two barrel carburetors. This unit was functioning well when removed and includes everything seen in the photos. This would be best as a local sale as the two tanks(one almost full) cannot be shipped. The carb mount is intended for the Carter one barrel but I understand other mounts can be purchased. Installation is fairly simple requiring a shut off in the fuel line to the carb as the fuel must be run out before a switch to propane and vice versa. A heater hose should be run through the unit if used in cold weather and one 12 volt power connection is necessary. I understand some add this to a diesel for added performance but you are on your own there, I have seen it on a UniMog and it was eye opening to say the least. Others tell me it is somewhat common on 40-50s Jeep models. Thanks
