Very cool hand built enclosed car trailer made of unique riveted texture aluminum sheeting with br*** strips. The frame is steel with dual 5000+ lbs axles (with brakes for all 4x wheels), and all box structure is hand formed piping, mostly brazed together (and riveted to sheeting). Beside the general appearance of the box portion of the trailer, the back flips up (manually) with a new stainless steel piano hinge, then is manually propped up. There is a front door that swings to the side using a piano hinge as well. There are locks for both front and rear doors, but have no keys to them. The trailer is believed to have been built by the previous owner in the early 1970s. New wheels and tires, brakes have been checked (a couple new brake pad springs installed), some wheel bearing have been repacked, wiring in tongue area has been redone (including new plug, battery for brakes, new emergency brake trigger kit). Cool vintage looking light bezels. Total trailer length is 18'-8". Box approximate overall size is 14'-6" long X 7'-8" wide X 6'-3" tall. Width of lower portion of float (where wheels would be supported) is 63" wide, and between wheel wells is 70". Flooring is plywood. I will take offers, as I do want to sell this trailer so that I can work on other projects. This trailer would look great with a vintage race car, Model T, Model A, Hot Rod, Rat Rod, roadster, coupe, etc. I actually bought this trailer with a Mercury Speedster inside. As much as I would love to keep this trailer, it must go. It looks great with the speedster coming out of it... I just do not have the space and have too many other projects...
