I think your only hope is Hurst. They offer recapped slicks on W.W. which can be grooved to approximate the dirt tread. I'm quite sure you'll not find any "gennie" Firestones with W.W. since they weren't caps-they were made in the factory just like the current Coker versions..

HEY THANKS!!!, Checked out the web site and its perfect!! for the back tires...I know that mickey tompson has a pair like those offered at the radir web site but didnt know they came with a dirt track tread (sort of ) I was probably going to settle with the slicks but these cheaters will make me feel a little bit eaiser with the law!!
I also noticed that they can groove in any kind of dirt track pattern on any of their tires....so ****...thanks again.

In the track roadster days here in Indiana (and Ohio), it wasn't uncommon to see whitewall dirt track tires ("Ascot tread") since they were all recaps and the desirable big carcases (8.00,8.20,8.90) always came from big expensive cars that invariably had W.W. tires. The pros (AAA), of course, all used factory made Firestones and Riversides.

well I know, but i do love the tread pattern on them and thought they would look nice as whitewalls, but hurst tires has the vintage style slicks (pie crust pattern) with white walls and they can put any type of tread pattern so why not dirt track pattern? hey I like it. thanks guys for the help.
