    HELLO,
    I am interested in any information or photos of vintage drag racers using Messerschmitt bodys or parts of the body. I have attached a photo of an example. If you have any info on this car I would be interested in hearing from you.

    I remember something similar to that with a Jag 6 for power running at the Orange MA drags back around '59 or '60. IIRC Hot Rod magazine did a feature on it during the same era. Sorry I don't have any pictures, remember much more about it, or know the exact issue of HRM.

    Another shot of the Iron Mistress. Two blown fuel Hemis, two rear ends, four slicks, too heavy, total failure.

    When Leffler & Coburn went their separate ways, Bill Coburn pulled a mold off the Messerschmidt's body, and made one from fibergl*** and put it on a conventional top fuel car.
