I hate to extend any sort of hospitality to any lowly Poor Boys...but if you all want to roll in style, you all can stop in here first and I'll grace you all with my presence in the convoy. :D

I promise if you all stop in here, there won't be any booby traps. I might throw an attack cat on one or two of you, but it'll just be for fun. I promise, no malice intended. :D I'll leave my nunchucks out of it.

    Thats a Greazy promise.

    VT, you trader!

What VT said, you can stop by here and take off your hubcaps so we don't steel them.

I'm just softening them up. They'll think we're gonna play nice cause I'll not attack right away.....

Then when we get down there to Maryville and the hoards of Greazies jump out of the bushes....whooooo man! The Poor Boys will then know the wrath of the Greazy. (I think Bruce Lee starred in a movie with a title like that didn't he?)

    Check this out...
"The Wrath of the Greazy" starring Ratster Lee.

I am finally back to normal after the week of hell. If i can get my ass in gear i am gonna try to9 get the poor poor boy ready fo rhte drags. I am not gonna promise it will be there but i am sure gonna bust my ass to get that and 3 other projects of other peoples done.

If we are gonna role with the greasies, wont it make it hard on our emotions to kick their asses later.

Hey all! I know the Greasy's are a bunch of fairley decent Knights of the grease-rack,and accept thier hospitality. I am planning on comming up on the friday before, and spend the night at my daughters' hause in K-town. I was there this past weekend, but had no luck in finding the elusive US 411 raceway. Sorry Rich, or Von Tingler, I didn't have your number, and just a quick pass-through Maryville,on the way home wasn't enough. Lets call a truce, and roll in together"invasion style",sounds like fun! Please PM me with your numbas, and directions to pass on to the PB'S:) Sparkingly,Glenn

We were planning on going up Friday night too.....but it sounds like a Saturday morning parade down I-40 would be lots more fun! Let's see how many rusty ol' floats we can get.

    Hey Rapstar..sent ya a pm.:D

Not sure of the way your going, for most of us it's easier to go trough Maryville, its about 10 miles from my house.

    Spark-o,
Probably the simplist thing would be to meet at Ratster's house....?? Thats where we usually meet for anything near Maryville.

Before that though....If you all want to roll in a group going TO Ratster's house, then let me know when you are coming through and I'll join in here at Monterey....then we'll roll through Kingston and pick up the Kingston bunch and then continue on down to Ratsters.

After Kingston, we'd probably have anywhere between 10-20 hot rods roaring toward Maryville (then we'd pick up the rest of the Greazies)....Its always fun to do one of these runs...I LOVE seeing the looks on people's faces when we tear by. Hot rods as far as the eye can see.....we gotta do it.

I'm hailing from Murfreesboro so long as I don't have final exam shit to take care of. If I come I am debating on pulling the motor out of my truck and throwing it in the roadster for the weekend. If I did that I would definetly want someone to follow me as I worked the bugs out. Don't mean to be off topic but what should I do about registration. I got no title for the girl.

I'm about 45 minutes from Kingston.
Ratster's house is probably another 45 minutes to an hour from Kingston....

We also LOSE an hour going out to Maryville, so if you all want to get to Ratster's by 10.am (their time)....and factoring in gas stops and going through Kingston....you should probably plan on being at Monterey at around 6:00 in the AM.....That would probably put us all at Ratsters around 9:30 their time.

Check your maps and see if I'm making sense. I always leave early and show up early...so my info may not be right...
    :D

At any rate, lets keep working on this and make up some sort of plan so we know what to expect. As for the guy with no registration, just slap a tag on and we'll keep you in the middle of the pack. :D

    Also...
    I was just thinking.
If any of you all want to come out here the night before and camp out here, that would be NO problem. I know many of you are about an hour and a half from Monterey...

I have plenty of parking space here... Enough for about 10 or more cars. Plus I have plenty of floor space. Bring sleeping bags and stuff...

If any of you want to do that, just let me know. The offer is open. We could have a cook out and play board games.
