Nope! you saw me riding around on another friends mini, seconds before getting my hand slapped by the swap's organization!!! Seems like when ever there is a runing mini around, I'm on it or asked to "see how it's running". I have been accused of being the local mini bike "Pied Piper", 'cause soon after hanging around here for a bit, everyone ends up with one!! And hell yes, you need one too. Then you can do the Thursday night mini bike nights around here, provided we can get enough guys together of course...

So are we on for tomorrow then?

And on the subject of cheap parts, I picked up five engines the other day for about $30... Three of them even ran after an oil change and a wipe down.

    The brand name is Rogue

The only one I know of has a wierd front suspension. Either yours has the wrong forks or it's a model I've never seen literature on.

    Very rare to find one.

Dude your awesome! Thanks for the info.

If this really is the Mark IV model it’s too bad the original forks are gone.:( It probably ended up hitting a wall at some time in its life. Maybe I'll build my own.

Do you know what year was that article published?

Just came in from a quick run around the neighborhood on the gold mini... What a great way to clear my head after a long day building hot rods (tough life, I know). Mini bike night went on hold again this week for lack of participation, ('cept Nick Flores... he always seems ready to ride!) so we'll give it a shot next week! THURSDAY evenings, downtown Phoenix, let's make the slightly northwest passage to the George and Dragon about two miles away and have a beer!

Not sure if you guys are aware, but Coker Tire just debuted some new mini bike tires. They have a 14x6 tire that would be awesome for mini bikes, and new 3.00-10 and a 3.00-12 motocross-style tires for small dirt bikes. Here's a link to the 14x6.

Ok, i've got a bit of a problem and now have a couple questions. I wrote down the model number on a piece of cardboard that apparently went through the wash last night so now i can't call my local parts store to figure out the cap levels. I thought most of you might know.

    1) Anyone know what the oil capcity this engine would have? 3.5 b/s.
    2) What kind of chain tension should i be looking for?
    3) Does anyone have a close up shot of the throttle linkage? I can't really find anything online that gives me a good enough idea of what is missing or what needs to be fabbed to make it work.

    Thanks a ton in advance!

oil level is filled to lower edge of threads in the fill hole
    chain..not banjo string tight...just about a 1/4' will do
Comet kart Sales in Indiana will have the linkage conversion kit you need...just tell them you need a throttle conversion kit for a briggs
and you will be good to go!
