Speaking of the roundup!!! Click on it a couple of times and it'll get big enough to really see. If your in Phoenix on Monday and like Mini Bikes, you owe it to your self to attend!
Is that the same Ron who's house you took me to? What a cool guy! If you guys are there to try to beat Ron's bike, you had better come with something stout. His bike is bitchin', and looks like it's going 35mph standing still! I wish I was closer, I'd bring my '69 Mini Trail.
Yep, that be him! Fortunately there will be no real drag racing tomorrow, 'cause otherwise it would be like normal, a bunch of us watching Sir Ronnie disapear into the distance!
Big Threat?! I had to tap you on the helmet to remind you that the flag cuitie dropped the flag! You were too busy trying to do a burn out... 'Course, I was stuck in the track prep and eventually swallowed a cricket the size of my schnauzer at the top end...
Yep....But you missed the first one, I cleaned house AND the coup-de-gras, royally pissed off Craig! Thanks for the lift, yesterday, to get the balljoint, dude.
Chip, Would it be pushin' it if I brought my XR80? Maybe someone would make a deal for a big wheeler ??
Had a great time hanging out with all the PHX area guys today! Hope you dudes can all make it out to SWND Nov 10th.
Arizona Roundup a "GREAT event! Good food , good fun and good people , what else could anyone ask for! A special THANKS!!! to Jan and Ron for offering up their home, hearts and hospitality, Great meeting everyone and looking forward to the next event!
Looks like a great time! I wish I could get guys around here to get into mini-bikes, I've had mine for 42 years.... and ride it most everyday.
Here is a FB page for vintage mini bike fans. Its directed more towards the Arizona guys but all are welcome: www.facebook.com/arizonavintageminibikeassociation We had a great time at Ron Olmsteads today. Thanks again to Ron and his family for the hospitality. Our next get-together is going to be in October sometime. Most likely the saturday before Halloween. Its going to be held in the QC/Gilbert area. We are going to try to flip flop between the east and west sides of town for each event. that way no one side of town has to do all the driving. we are also going to be trying to race in december at the QC equestrian riding center. we watched some great flat track races there last weekend and its a beautiful facility. check out there FB sites at: www.facebook.com/qcflattrack and: www.facebook.com/flattrackin
Sounds like fun! Keep me in the loop please. Any chance you could post the video of my Police encounter over on the MINI BIKE DAY thread? You guys have to know that was on of the few times that I DIDN'T end up in trouble!

I had a 3.5 Bonanza but my brother had a 5hp Rupp with a 2 speed jackshaft assy. We took off the governor (of course) and that thing was flat scary! Wish I had taken pictures of them, but, at 12 years old, uh, the cameras were a little different then and hard to come by (1970). We rode the Hell out of those mini bikes in the Seneca, MD countryside..... H
