    These are on the 39.
The 39 was up to 19,121 miles in 1952. Under 1500 miles per year! I am guessing the original owner must have been pretty tight with their money. It is also a V8-60 car, Standard, with no options. Not even a heater- and it came from South Dakota.
My Dad commented, " No heater in South Dakota? That must have belonged to either the toughest or the cheapest son of a bitch in the state!"

You could try custom oil change stickers my experience was so good with them but they only accept bulk of orders.

If you notice on the OPosters sticker the oil change interval was 1000 miles, today 7500 miles no sweat, the old days tires were good for 10,000, today 50-60,000 easy, plugs 10,000, today 100,000, battery's one or two years, today 7- 10 years, light bulbs were always blowing, today some cars go there whole lives with outh a failure. Just an observation of mine for shits and grins.. Ralphie

I agree but not with lights. Every time I’m out I see stop or tail lights out on modern cars. If it a stop I try to inform the driver.

I have seen the batteries fail in newer vehicles in less then 4 years most likely due to all the electronic demand placed on them,I do have a almost 9 year old battery in my 55 Sunliner and about the same in my 37 Chevy p/u.
