One of the ex C & H cars came to Australia it was driven by Henry Harrison and was named The Vulture, it went back to the USA after the tour. I do not know if the car that came here was your new car or not, I will try to find a picture of the car that came here. I hope you get it restored and get to run it, What A Find!
You could possibly contact Paul Candies in Louisana..He still attends the Hot Rod Reunions...Chances are,I could get his adress for you......

on sunday(sunday, sunday!) august 10, 2008 the annual funny car reunion, is once again being held at englishtown (old bridge township raceway park, for us old timers) their will probably be 20-30 vintage F/C's there, for a "cacklefest, plus passes on the FULL 1/4, some of these guys are great historians, and would be a good source of info on complete cars and parts, a long way for you but well worth it -
englishtown trust me id love to be there but im recovering from my 2 trip to michigan and the $800 fuel bill. sorry photos of the vega body.sorry its not forsale .wished i had a dozen of them .cut them down the middle makes a great piece for the shop wall.

I see the 70s site has been mentioned. Here's one that might help too http://www.classicfunnycarboard.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/ikonboard.cgi/ikonboard.cgi and http://www.wediditforlove.com/ and http://www.nostalgiafunnycarnews.com/forums/index2.php No need to make copies, they are out there http://www.nostalgiafunnycarbodies.com/ this might help too http://www.glnfcc.com/ Great find!!!!
Can't say how much the following will help you document the car's history, but here goes. Get ahold of Rob Wolf (senior editor) at Mopar Collector's Guide, (225)274-0609. He may be able to help, and he may put you in contact with a guy by the name of Geoff (Jeff) Stunkard. (A contributing writer, writes a "Racing into the past" column.). Geoff has a rather large library of historical photos from years gone by, many of them Mopar-friendly. (He sells copies, so it'll probably cost you.) Rob may also want to do a writeup on the car for the mag, which could also net you a batch of info, and possibly leads for original parts from the car as raced back then. Good luck.....Roger
I don't wanna rip on anyone, but MCG is the worst place to go for information. Half the stuff in most their articles is made up, the other half is material misreported by car owners looking to talk up their own cars. There is an infinite number of better places to go for information.
