just 4 fun ....I know itz not a truck....

 

I hope we see some good examples on this one. I've always thought that a lot of these Bonneville posers with their beaters with a number painted on the side that is more of a drag racing number than a vintage land speed number would be a hell of a lot more believable if they showed up in a 40's, 50's or early 60's pickup set up as a push truck complete with push board on the front.

 

The "Sour Sisters" and Kenny Safford's 59 Elco

 

Back in the early 70's when I had a 59 Elcamino you would have thought that it has spent a season or two as a push truck on the salt if you got it up on a hoist and looked at the floorboards. Great looking and fun rigs though.
