Cool pic but I wonder if it is AI or photoshopped? Pic looks vintage but the laying-frame stance would have been uncommon for that 60's-70's era photo, No??

  2. I’m betting photoshopped
    But cool

Of all of the homes on wheels shown, this is the best! So Mad Max, and yet not. It would be the one I'd park in my driveway

I bought this ultra cool 1941 GMC K-18 Signal Corps radio wagon back when I was 17 in high school.
Sold it a few years ago to a person in San Jose California, and he kept it for a while, and now it belongs to some pilots that bought it, they own a aviation museum in Bakersfield California, where it awaits its turn to be fully restored.

It was powered by a G.M.C. 270, inline 6 banger, with a Zenith up draft carburetor. I swapped out the 4 speed rock crusher transmission and replaced it with a Clark 5 speed with 30% over drive.

The Silver rig belongs to Walter Hellinger, he sank a ton of money into it.
The rear bumpers feared NO ONE! Same with the folding front brush guard.
    Thanks from Dennis.

That's a humorous film, and the one by the American Truck Historical Society, Wheels of Progress is worth watching also.
