I have been puzzling who the woman in the driver's seat is. Somebody from the 50's, maybe French actress Corinne Calvert? Just a guess from deep in my memory

 

I kniow most of you have eyes elsewhere but would like to know what that car is. Love the trim on the bottom of the doors and seats. My eye were also on the other subject material

Wendell Scott. Very interesting guy, who despite being a (usually) unsponsored, (always) underfunded owner/builder/driver held his own against a lot of NASCAR competitors. He was highly regarded by the Petty and Jered teams/clans. Look him up, you'll be impressed with what he accomplished.
