OK, I may have posted these pictures before but I am old and don't remember everything I do. Heck, I can forget what I am doing while I am doing it! So, here are two from my family and one I wish was from my family. I am sure the last one has been posted but who can't look at a 50 Pontiac one more time?
Yes but it was a convertible with a carload of teenage girls in two-piece swimsuits heading to the beach, screaming and waving at James Dean.

My dad worked for Western Pacific RR back in the 60's They had a motorized passenger car they called The Budd car. They used it to shuttle workers from location to location. I rode it once through the Feather River Canyon before the Oroville Dam was built. Budd was a manufacturer of a lot of passenger rail cars. Like those beautiful shiny dome cars on The California Zephyr.
