VINTAGE SHOTS FROM DAYS GONE BY! (Part 2)

I could never get into the customs at car shows. They seemed too over the top and impractical, and some were downright ugly (I know, beauty is in the eye of the beholder)! I always skipped them and went to the hot rods! JMO, YMMV

 

Has anyone ever seen or heard of a 40-41 Willys Coupe called the Kiss of Death? It was from eastern Oregon

I'm with ya here. Hot rods, horsepower, go fast, that's where it's at!
I greatly admire the skill to build and create customs but the finished product, not so much. We each dig our own thing. But that's what makes the car hobby so cool.

Ok, I gotta ask. In these car show pictures what's with the Angel Hair? Why do they do that? Decoration? Also, the gravel(?) around the car, what's that for?
