I saw the Rolling Stones there in 1965. At that period in time it was quite an attraction, but unfortunately the retractable roof didn't work well at all and it was opened very few times throughout it's lifetime.
Built in Shelburne in 1906, the Ticonderoga (fondly known as the “Ti”) operated as a day boat on Lake Champlain, serving ports along the New York and Vermont shores until 1953.
