VINTAGE SHOTS FROM DAYS GONE BY! (Part 2)

  1. I recall that L.A. used that paint scheme into the 70's up until they changed their name from RTD to MTA. We used to joke that RTD stood for "Road to Death" because of all the accidents they were having at the time.

    The buses of yellow, green & white of L.A. Transit were all painted green when the MTA came along in '57. There is one right behind this one. The RTD came after that..
