This has to be one of the Broadmoor sight seeing commercial ch***is Cadillacs. Note the extra height in windshield and roof. Basically they were limousine-style (windows full length) ambulances with 3 rows of seats and big gl*** sections in roof for viewing mountains. I am pretty sure I would not go flying in a Corvair! But how cool that you could drive to the runway, adjust the wings and takeoff ! Reminds me that in mid-fifties when Interstate Highway was designed it was mandatory that one mile out of every five be straight so defense could use it as a runway in event of war. A great first shot of a roadster type car on the dirt. Is there any info on this one, Rootie? And could the second photo be somewhere in Canada? The reason I say that is because of the "Stubby" wall adverti*****t in the background. I think that Stubby might have been a Canadian drink. Thanks!
The roadster is another shot of the Odie Fellows car that I posted a while back. Yes,the #8 big car was raced in the PNW and could possibly been out of B.C. but I'm not sure.
