    I just love the optimism in this pic! The car is no where close to being done and yet our hero is very busy working on fitting some hub caps.
    I'll just bet he spends lots of time sitting behind the wheel make "vroom, vroom" noises.

  14. The thirties were hard times for a LOT of people! Only WW II got us out of the depression. Although this picture was posted as an old car photo, I'm glad there are some of us on here that can appreciate what other folks went through (and are going through today). Thanks for posting!

    I have seen other photos of this same car / people with more people in the picture. If I remember correctly these this was north/east North Carolina and the people are heading north following the harvesting of ripening of food crop
