Funny! Looks like Grunwald store had a canopy express.. Clamshell doors are open for loading and you can see the wall n window behind the drivers seat. My "not so smart" phone doesn't show enough detail to make out year/make/model. I have a 1948 Chevrolet canopy express. I bought it when I lived on Maui from a surfer who brought it from Missouri. When I moved to Texas I brought it along. A well travelled vehicle. I did similar with my 1956 Ford panel which I bought in Oregon and shipped to Maui then to Texas when I moved. Not to be outdone my wife bought her 1937 Chev pickup on Maui right after it arrived from Oregon and yes, She brought it to Texas too. A lot of my vehicles have "sea miles". 1 more vehicle I promise, Rex Winter Dry n windy Lubbock TX

My guess would be that it's a attempt to keep water out of the wheel bearings when they back the boat down the ramp into the water.
Dick Moraniac of Dearborn, my brother has that roadster sitting in his garage. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
