Makes me think of my grandparents^. Not that they would have bought a fancy Bel Air. Grandmom didn't like 2 door cars. She said the doors were too big and heavy.

 

My grandparents didn't own anything fancy. In fact my grandfather on my mom's side preferred smaller frugal cars like a Nash, then a '61 Comet and lastly a '70 Maverick. He even considered a VW Beetle at one time but he could not fit. My other grandfather wasn't too particularly frugal. He had a variety of cars like an Olds, a Chevy Belair, a Dodge then lastly a Mercury.
Neither of my grandmothers drove.
