I played "doctor" with a neighbor girl when I was a little older than him and got in trouble for it!!
The A Bros "Adonis" sat behind Bishop's Piney Branch Sunoco, Silver Spring MD..It was totally stripped of running gear, interior and acrylic front and rear grilles..I approached the owner ( NOT Mr.Bishop at that time) and tried to buy what was left several times..It sat stripped to steel and lead, went soft and the owner had it crushed... SAD SAD..Owner would not sell interior or grilles...JVK
Also,the ubiquitous water bag! Anywhere on a road trip until the 70's,probably. The most important commodity in this country!
I think this last picture is in East Pittsburgh. Going up the hill takes you to North Braddock and the George Westinghouse bridge.
Actually the article about Pam, has pictures of both Pam and Barb(???). Don't know why. I met Pam a couple of times, but knew Barb fairly well. Both are impressive, but Barb was and always will be my favorite!
