A lot of these old pictures show the disparity between city/urban living and rural living during that time period. Today, we tend to think that life is the same throughout our population (even though it really isn't), but these photos depict the hard times for some folks. I hate to say it, but it took WW II to begin to improve the economy of the nation.
I somehow miss a member of our community who knew all about each of 'em Tuckers, i can't recall his name
