The Lorelie Rock(excuse spelling) on the Rhine River in Germany. If I remember right,there is a statue there of a mermaid? who had supers***ious connection with sailors. You'll need to google the actual origins of it,or that bloke from Sweden can likely help out. My little knowledge comes from motoring by on a cruise in 2008.
